Corporate ID and Brand Standards – THA Group’s corporate brand represents who we are to the world, so it is crucial that we both protect and build it. This policy contains important information that you will need to know to communicate using the company brand.

Criticality Analysis Backup and Contingency Planning Policy –  Defines steps to be taken to back up information systems in the event the organization loses any data and must restore the systems, and to plan for operations to continue during an interruption of service, such as system downtime, brief power outage, or other limited disruption of the systems.

Document Retention and Destruction – Defines the process for the systematic review, retention, and destruction of organizational documents and to ensure that THA Group maintains appropriate records for their operations.

OASIS Accuracy – OASIS data provides a baseline upon which progress and improvement of the patient during an episode of Home Health Services is measured; therefore, accuracy of the OASIS data set is critical prior to transmission to Medicare.

Policies and Procedures – All THA Group policies and procedures are developed, revised, and reviewed annually by the policy committee and then sent to governance to assure currency of information to reflect an emphasis on quality and ethical practice. New policies and procedures are developed in accordance with a standardized process. Policies and procedures are revised as needed in response to organizational or regulatory changes.

Privacy and Security – Provides a simplified overall guideline directed at singular aspects of privacy and confidentiality in order for staff to understand the relationship between staff and the clients of the THA Group of companies.

Remote Access to Systems by Vendor(s) – THA Group takes reasonable steps to ensure that access by authorized IT vendors is appropriate and protected from potential abuse.

Technology Usage – Broadly covers all of the THA Group’s technology resources – hardware, software, and content; this includes but is not limited to electronic networks, systems, computers, devices, telephones, software, data, files, and all content residing in any of these – referred to as “IT resources”. This policy applies to all records of THA Group and to the information in those records, regardless of the form or the location.

Virus Protection – Describes how THA Group ensures that there is adequate protection against viruses that may damage our information assets, breach system security, or violate privacy and confidentiality of patient records.

Volunteer Documentation – Island Hospice volunteers comply with all laws and regulations governing documentation of hospice patients and family care.
