Scott Weeks / Vice President, Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors

November 15, 2014

Dear Friends,

I’m writing to let you know how much the entire Fox & Weeks family appreciates the work you do and the care you provide for the families of our community in need of your compassionate service.

National Hospice/Palliative Care Month gives us a chance to show you our appreciation for the irreplaceable role hospice professionals and volunteers play for families who truly need your guidance and care. We owe you a debt of gratitude not only for the work you but also for the comfort you bring to so many.

I also want to let you know that Fox & Weeks has made a donation to The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire in honor of all of the hospice professionals and volunteers in our community who nurture families through some of life’s most troubling times. The 200 Club provides immediate financial assistance to the surviving spouse and children of local law enforcement officers and firefighters in southeast Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry who lose their lives in the line-of-duty while protecting their communities. You can learn a lot more about The 200 Club by visiting www.twohundredclub.org.

The Weeks family vividly remembers the support and guidance provided by a hospice nurse when we were faced with the death of someone who meant the world to us, and we will never forget the gratitude we felt for her soothing presence as we wrestled to accept the inevitable. We know from experience that you help soothe the worry felt during those moments by helping people understand the transition their loved one is going through. That allowed us to focus on being present in the moment and with each other, and it was a precious gift that we received.

We are grateful for your help with every family under your care that chooses Fox & Weeks. We strive to make sure we meet the needs of each family we serve, and working with hospice professionals always enables us to better serve a family.

My hope is that you will receive this letter and our contribution to The 200 Club as a small token of the admiration and gratitude everyone at Fox & Weeks feels for the hospice professionals and volunteers in our community. We know your first priority is to take care of the patients and families you serve, and we welcome your thoughts and feedback that would enable Fox & Weeks to better serve those who need us.

Take care and God bless you,

Scott E. Weeks
