Update of Employee Hurricane Evacuation

September 3, 2019

Good Morning,

We continue to monitor the track of Hurricane Dorian in consultation with the Chatham Emergency Management Agency and information from the National Weather Service.  We continue to recognize those of you that have supported the efforts to care for our patients and communities during this storm.
As of, Tuesday, September 3rd, all GA and SC offices remain closed due to the mandatory evacuation put in place.  All offices will reopen as soon as the mandatory evacuation is lifted and we are able to safely do so.  Please be aware that clinicians may still see patients in service areas that aren’t under mandatory evacuation.  As a reminder, the areas under mandatory evacuation are:  All of Beaufort County, A & B zones for Jasper County, Bryan County east of Interstate 95, the remainder of coastal Georgia east of I-95, and the eastern section of Chatham County.
Please continue to monitor the change of events with the storm.  Although the storm has been reduced to a 2, this storm has also been unpredictable and we must take the necessary precautions to keep you and our patients safe.  Continue to communicate with your leaders on patient care and evacuation plans.  Virtual visits and in-home visits in non-mandatory evacuation areas are permitted.  We will continue to monitor the weather and communicate via email, social media and our website any changes to operations.
We will communicate an updated message around 1pm tomorrow after the leadership conference call.
Stay safe,
THA Group Leadership
