Life Care Services from Independent Life at Home
Customized private home care

THA Group’s Independent Life at Home provides non-medical in-home care services. Life assistance services can complement and/or supplement services not required through medical home care. These services allow people
to remain in their homes and communities by providing
the following:

Assistance with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
New Mom / Baby care
Dementia / Alzheimer’s supportive care
Post-surgery care
Medication reminders
Transportation to appointments and other outings
Errand service
Respite care / Caregiver relief
Daily vital sign monitoring
Companion services

Services are provided by personal care assistants and/or companion caregivers. The client and family determine what services are needed, when they are provided and for how long. Staff is available for up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or as little as a few hours at a time.

All of our staff members are licensed, bonded and insured. We complete criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks and perform drug testing on all THA Group employees. In addition, our employees go through an extensive orientation and training program to ensure the highest quality service.

Arranging for Life Care Services
While a physician may recommend non-medical services, this type of service does not require a physician’s order nor does the client need to be homebound as with medical home health care. Covering the cost for Life Care Services
THA Group’s Independent Life at Home accepts commercial insurance, long term care insurance and private pay.

Independent Life at Home currently serves the residents of Chatham, Bryan, Bulloch, Effingham and Liberty Counties in Georgia* and Beaufort and Jasper Counties in South Carolina.
