Ellen Bolch to Speak at 2014 Georgia Tech People & Technology Forum

Ellen Bolch, President and CEO of THA Group, will be a panelist at Georgia Tech’s Institute for People and Technology’s 2014 People & Technology Forum. The forum, held on November 11-12, 2014 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, will focus on “Connected Life” with keynotes and panel discussions providing thought-provoking discussions with insightful business leaders, brilliant researchers, and entrepreneurs examining how emerging technologies will shape the future of our society.

The panel — Technology for Patients at Home: A Global, Current Health Informatics Perspective (November 12 at 10 a.m.) — will examine the role that patient-facing technologies can play in improving the outcomes and efficiency of healthcare in the U.S. It will explore how cutting-edge research and development in areas such as predictive analytics for use in care delivery, behavior imaging, the use of sensors and other data to observe and understand human behavior in the home, novel means of monitoring the status of patients using smart devices, and mobile personal health records are having an impact on the healthcare industry.
